Greenleaf was established in 2010 by partners Katie Nannestad and Richie Plewka. Combining rich experience in Marketing and IT, we offer small businesses a measured and integrated approach to marketing, and building a robust strategy to get the most from any budget. Colin Addison joined the team later in the year as an Associate, managing Greenleaf's search engine marketing campaigns.
Katie’s background is pure marketing. Graduating from West Kent College in Business and Marketing in 1993, she began her career in PR. She soon moved into the world of advertising in the client services function and spent seven years at McCann-Erickson based in London and San Francisco, leading the development of campaigns for clients large and small, including Microsoft, Walls and Mothercare. More recently, Katie has held positions on both the client and agency side, driving strategic development and digital and social media. As co-founder of Greenleaf, Katie heads-up strategic planning and campaign development, as well as day-to-day client services.
Richie began his career in technology, after graduating from Kingston College in electronic engineering in 1984. He spent a number of years consulting in both electronics and software engineering for large global brands including Vodafone and HP. Richie left the corporate world in 2000 to co-found Farnham-based Dial-e-for-Business, a web design business which quickly spawned Click Loans, Spanish Holidays.com and Click Life. After several years growing these businesses as Business & Technical Director, Richie sold his interest to pursue new ventures. As co-founder of Greenleaf, Richie heads-up all technical aspects of the business including web development, hosting, SEO as well as being heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
Colin looks after search engine marketing campaigns at Greenleaf.
