A Year of Clicks and Mortar

When the internet keeps moving forward and advancing, your business needs to advance as well - you need to not be seen to be standing still.  Companies which do not own or operate an online business as well as a physical business, are losing out on sales and additional profits.

Reaching your target market in your own area is one thing, but having a website allows you to reach your target market far more broadly.  If you can sell your product or service to anyone, anywhere, why limit it to just your physical location?

2011 has demonstrated just this.  In the last year Greenleaf has had numerous enquiries about ecommerce websites, and high street retailers especially understand that simple bricks and mortar are no longer enough to keep ahead of the competition.

This week marks the beginning of the West Sussex-based Pooh House & Garden series of Open Events. To promote the events, Greenleaf designed and built them a new website in a record breaking 2 weeks. Owners Mary & Paul Reed have worked tirelessly throughout the summer to make these events possible, with proceeds going to the Chestnut Tree House children's hospice. Targeting families during the school summer holidays, there are Pooh themed events running each week with exhibits such as live owl displays, and even some baby piglets.

Sneak preview. We've been so busy working on building new websites for our clients, that we realised that we'd been overlooking our own for a while!  There are so many great new features and widgets available to play with that we're hopefully going to have some fun with this site.  We'll also be building with HTML5 and CSS3, so should allow for more dynamic content.
